Raised in Great Falls, Virginia, Chris got his first guitar at age 14 and slowly honed his songwriting skills over the next few years, playing in various bands and also as a solo act throughout his high school and college years.
Chris released his first solo album The Savannah Sessions on May 25th, 2015. Chris’s song My Oh My off of the album was sought out by Sirius XM radio’s The Coffee House channel and is now being played regularly on the air. After two years of performances promoting The Savannah Sessions, Chris released his next studio effort Stranger Places on April 10th, 2017. On March 15th, 2019, Chris released the 3 song EP Hear, Listen, and followed it up with Hollywood EP on October 23rd, 2020. Chris’s three newest singles I Give Up, Judgement, and Out The Door have a combined 100,000 streams on Spotify. Chris and his band The Cassaday Concoction released their first full length album “I Need To Be” on September 10th, 2022.
5 records and thousands of miles later, Chris has proven his worth as a performer. His unique blend of genres, his exhilarating live performances, and his thunderous and distinctive voice have gathered him a significant following. The sky is the limit for this Washington, DC based singer-songwriter.
