Rick Landers – vocals/guitar; and Heartland (Ron Goad – backup vocals/percussion; John Werntz – bass; and Jim Nagle – dobro) perform mostly originals and a few select covers. Rick was recently invited to record at Cabin Studios, owned by Les Thompson (Nitty Gritty Dirt Band co-founder with Jackson Browne). His original song “Angel on the Wing” recently (2021) won a Songwriters of Washington Award. Rick also publishes Guitar International Magazine (2005 to 2022) and has interviewed legends of the guitar; Les Paul, Slash, Jose’ Feliciano; songwriter Jimmy Webb, Buddy Guy and many more; most recent: Eric Gales, Mark Warner (Grand Funk); Jim McCarty (The Yardbirds); and John Hall (Orleans).
