She had an epiphany that she really loved the country music she grew up on and it's what her voice naturally intonated to and what her storytelling lyrics lent itself best to. She’s currently working on new music hat will reflect this shift better.

Kristin Forbes recorded and toured as a solo artist for years in Boston before moving to Washington, DC to play keys with The Travis Morrison Hellfighters (frontman of The Dismemberment Plan). It was in DC in 2005 that she met Olivia Mancini and picked up bass to play in her band, Olivia Mancini & The Mates. She also went on to play bass in The Andalusians. Kristin now lives in Baltimore and has rediscovered her love for playing Jamaican music. Dubbed Lady Hatchet by her peers, Kristin is the fearless leader of The Scotch Bonnets, her punky reggae band that also serves as an outlet for her song-writing. Over the course of their ten year career, the Bonnets have released two full length albums. The band backed and recorded with HR, singer from Bad Brains, and twice toured backing Roddy Radiation, lead guitarist of The Specials. This past March she opened for The English Beat at the Birchmere.

He released a solo CD of original music in 2000, entitled “That Swagger, That Thing!” Pete has assembled an ever-growing list of tunes you know and love for live gigs. Part rock ‘n’ roll, a little country, some funk, a touch of soul and all heart, Mack’s music is as perfectly suited for bars and wineries as it is for the big stage. Her acoustic solo set is filled with a diverse mix of sing-along songs from Van Morrison and Creedence Clearwater Revival to Smokey Robinson and The Lumineers. She is currently looking for a full-band setup.

Self-reflective and acutely observant, Michelle deftly weaves lyric and note together to create intensely personal songs that tell of sentiments and circumstances nonetheless familiar to everyone.

Laced with quick wit and a unique perspective, he tackles topics ranging from dating apps to police brutality. Dewayne is a DC-based standup comedian who performs all over the country. He’s a combat-wounded veteran who served in the Army for 23 years. His humor is drawn from his unique take on his military experience, his life as a husband and father, and the general craziness of life. Dewayne has worked alongside amazing comedians like Josh Blue, Jackie Kashian, Ryan Niemiller, Tony Woods, PJ Walsh, and many others. Ian Toppall is a young stand up comic from Northern Virginia who aspires of being on SNL one day… but right now he just hopes to get through senior year of high school. She started out studying classical piano, played trombone in high school and college. One day she was listening to “Spirit of the Radio”, singing along to the bass line, and realized that she was a pretty good singer and just had to be a bass player. She also plays the piano and guitar.

Hall Vote is a singer songwriter out of Centreville, Virginia. He has performed as the lead singer for The Boneshakers (“Oh So Black”-Cellar Door Records) for nearly 15 years. He also performs as a singer and trumpet player for the Norfolk-based group, Savannah. Currently, he has developed a solo acoustic act where one might hear their favorite tune from the 60’s ,70s, 80s, or 90's but current hits are a must.

Rick was recently invited to record at Cabin Studios, owned by Les Thompson (Nitty Gritty Dirt Band co-founder with Jackson Browne). His original song "Angel on the Wing" recently (2021) won a Songwriters of Washington Award. Rick also publishes Guitar International Magazine (2005 to 2022) and has interviewed legends of the guitar; Les Paul, Slash, Jose' Feliciano; songwriter Jimmy Webb, Buddy Guy and many more; most recent: Eric Gales, Mark Warner (Grand Funk); Jim McCarty (The Yardbirds); and John Hall (Orleans).

Justin Suede is a six-string slingin’ artist which brought him to Nashville in 2018. His original work is filled with heavy, dark, and whiskey aged stories - belted with conviction through the voice of a weathered soul. Shortly after receiving a recording contract for his debut EP, Justin moved to Alexandria, Virginia in 2021, where he currently resides when he's not on the road.

Brent Funkhouser’s brand of achingly uplifting songwriting was born out of the river bends and mountain hollows of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. His style of songwriting displays influence from classics like Tom Petty, americana contemporaries like Jason Isbell, and Texas/red dirt songsters like Turnpike Troubadours, filtered through his own original voice. The singer-songwriter has travelled up and down the east coast to perform to attentive audiences, opening for award-winning artists such as Judy Collins and Phil Vassar in the process.

Evan grew up in a house full of music and gained a healthy appreciation for the Beatles, Beach Boys, Motown, Elton John, Bob Dylan, and CSNY. Later he started finding his own way musically, finding artists that would shape his tastes like U2, REM, The Cure, New Order, and Prince. It wasn’t until 1994, though, when he first picked up a guitar after hearing “Definitely Maybe” by Oasis. The guitar sat quietly while life got in the way, but after many years he finally found the resolve to start playing music again. Evan will play tunes by the artists that shaped him and hopefully leave an audience thinking “I forgot how much I love that song.

Mixing genres from rock to folk to soul to bluegrass; flavors as varied as jazz and hip hop curl through the sound of Washington Area Music Association’s “Best Contemporary Folk Group” – ilyAIMY. ilyAIMY and their co-fronts Heather Aubrey Lloyd and Rob Hinkal have won accolades from Kerrville Folk Festival, National Association for Campus Activities, the Northeast Regional Folk Alliance and the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival (Most-Wanted Artist for both the band and Heather solo!). Heather has been recognized by the Telluride Bluegrass Festival and Rocky Mountain Folks Festival and won 2019’s Bernard Ebb Songwriting Award.
